Accreditation

To assure SCHAS meets the highest industry standards, the agency is accredited through The National Association for Home Care & Hospice.  On the most recent accreditation report SCHAS received eight commendations.

Some of the commendations are for training of caregivers, quality of service, case management for clients, board member oversight, professionalism of staff,
continuing education of caregivers, and community outreach.

The accreditation process is strenuous, but clients and family members can trust that caregivers are screened and trained beyond the requirements of the State of Tennessee licensure.  The professional staff at SCHAS understands the needs of each client ensuring each person receives an individualized care plan.  As a non-profit, SCHAS’ focus is on the person receiving care, and being accredited is proof SCHAS has a high quality service at an affordable price.
